Allure Within

This music video showcases five stunning dancers, moving and twisting around the pole as if drawn to it by an unseen force. Each performance captures the beauty that comes in many shapes and sizes, revealing a desire to break free from the mundane and monotonous routines of everyday life. Their dance is an expression—a raw, powerful urge to let go and embrace such an alluring desire.With a dedicated crew of three, the project was filmed at the Sydney Pole (Camperdown) studios using cutting-edge equipment, capturing footage in 4K to 6K resolution at 60fps. The result was over 1 terabyte of stunning visuals, presenting a formidable challenge for the editing process. Despite the complexity, the effort was worth it, ensuring that the artistry and energy of the dancers were showcased in all their glory.

Yet to be released due to ongoing color grading, 'Allure Within' showcases the work of a small crew of three and the immense talent of four extraordinary pole dancers. This project reflects the collaborative spirit and artistic vision at Merrigold Productions. This is only the beginning, with much more to come.

The First

When game developer Casey Li is found dead with her VR headset still on, the case is already deemed a dead-end. For the detective, a routine investigation turns surreal as clues lead to a sinister force within Casey’s virtual creation. Uncovering a faceless entity with deadly power, the detective realises this threat extends far beyond the digital world. What killed Casey may now be coming for them.This project marked a significant milestone for Merrigold Productions, showcasing their ability to harness emerging technologies while maintaining a focus on storytelling. The film utilized a hybrid approach: practical scenes were shot on location at a real apartment, while more surreal, futuristic sequences were created using Unreal Engine 5 and green screen technology.
The narrative, which revolves around themes of identity, technology, and humanity’s relationship with the virtual world, is brought to life through a combination of skilled teamwork, creative vision, and advanced filmmaking tools.
